NEW YORK, ESPOSTA LA PIU’ GRANDE SCULTURA DI PALLONCINI AL MONDO
A New York, è stata realizzata la più grande scultura di palloncini al mondo. Esposta al Salt Lake Comic Con Fan Experience 2014, l’opera è stata inventata e costruita dallo statunitense John Reid.
Battezzata simbolicamente con il nome “Poptimus Prime”, la scultura, alta 15 metri, è ispirata ai Transformers.
John Reid ha inviato il filmato della realizzazione dell’opera al Guinness World Records, che spera gli conferisca il primato per la scultura di palloncini più grande realizzata da una sola persona.
Per formare la scultura sono stati impiegati 4.302 palloncini. Reid, per farla stare all’interno del capannone dove si teneva la convention, ha dovuto dare al robot una posizioneinginocchiata.
L’artista, che lavora con i palloncini da 20 anni, spera che la sua costruzione sia di ispirazione per altri. Vorrebbe, infatti, mantenere il record per tre o quattro mesi ma spera che poi qualcun altro decida di raccogliere la sfida e faccia qualcosa di ancora più gigantesco e spettacolare.
